Ribble Model Boat Club 2nd Show and Regatta 29/04/2001

This year we attended the above show as a club with a number of our members attending on the day.  The show was held at the Priory Club, Broadfield Drive, Leyland, Lancashire.  There was a static exhibition in the hall and free sailing on the two ponds outside.  A number of other clubs attended including: Kirklees, Southport and Blackpool & Fylde.  Once again Glen from Newhey Models was in attendance and was very busy in the tent outside.  Prizes were awarded to winners in the static competition.

Overall we found the day to be very enjoyable and we will go again next year if invited.  I personally made a number of new friends and contacts and enjoyed looking at the models on display.
