Our pond is situated on Squirrel Lane which is off the main A673 Chorley to Bolton road (Jct 6 off M61 - see map below).  From the roundabout in Horwich, where the B6226 meets the A673, head towards Adlington/Chorley.  Just after the roundabout the A673 turns into a dual carriageway.  Squirrel Lane is on your left about half a mile from the roundabout.  There is also a pub called the 'Squirrel' which is right next to Squirrel Lane.  Once you have turned down Squirrel Lane you will pass some houses on your right.  Continue until you see a metal gate on your left, this is the entrance.  If the barrier is locked, you will have to park at the barrier and walk down and ask a member to let you in.
